Lost - 2x23 "Live Together, Die Alone"

Thank god the finale was actually awesome. But in the interest of exploring what could have been if Lost had continued to be a phallically signifying tease, a brief glimpse at what my coverage would have been like:

Man, what a stupid show.

But good lord, Alex is hot! Forget about Dr. Jock, Tom Sawyer, Kite, and Harley, I'm just going to post pictures of Alex from now on.

Hard to believe her mom is Rousseau, hein?

If Lost's suck had continued, indeed I would've been doubly disappointed by the finale, as Hot Alex was barely onscreen. Well, there was this tasty treat:

Soft!

But like an injection of vaccine for a non-existent airborne disease, Desmond's (brief) return to Lost gave the show a much-needed dose of character. Maybe Henry Ian Cusick (the chap who plays Desmond) hammed it up enough to distinguish himself from the rest of the bores on the cast, maybe he was actually, genuinely good. In any case, of course Lost kills him off (probably), though the way he sacrificed himself with the failsafe was undeniably affecting and sweet.

Oh and that other thing. You know, actually moving the plot along in a meaningful way, though it's hard to specify how it's meaningful.
